This work is simultaneously about professional and domestic leadership. This mostly 3D printed sculpture is largely transparent except for where it is dyed with acrylic paint. The files used to print this object were drawn in cad from images and mechanical drawings with noted dimensions from the original Marcel Breuer Cesca Chairs. I chose this chair in particular because of the arms which would generally be reserved for the head of the table. Cesca chairs came with and without arms and growing up, we had a knock-off set of four around our kitchen table. Collapsed, overturned, and in flames with an accompanying crushed beer can, Table Head is about my personal struggles with academic leadership and parenting.
